Calamagrostis

Calamagrostis (Reed Grass) is a genus of 250 perennial species forming tufts of linear leaves, with erect stems bearing attractive flowering panicles in summer. Suitable for borders is the hybrid Calamagrostis x acutiflora and its lovely cultivars with elegantly arched narrow leaves and long buff plumes that last through most of the winter.
