Plantain Lily 'Victory', 'Victory' Hosta
Noted for its huge leaves and distinctive variegation, Hosta ‘Victory’ (Plantain Lily) is a clump-forming perennial forming an impressive mound of large, thick, wavy, widely oval, blue-green leaves adorned with broad, irregular margins. Emerging bright yellow, the margins turn pale yellow as the season progresses. Racemes of funnel-shaped, pale lavender flowers appear in profusion in early to midsummer summer on arching scapes rising above the foliage mound to 54 in. tall (135 cm). Fairly fast-growing, this spectacular hosta eventually makes a remarkable specimen and adds great color to the shady border.
