Rose Miss All-American Beauty, Rosa 'MEIdaud', Rosa 'Maria Callas', Hybrid Tea Roses, Shrub Roses
Named after the prima donna Maria Callas, Rosa Miss All-American Beauty is a particularly luminous Hybrid Tea rose with very large, 6 in. across (15 cm), full (50-60 petals), cupped, deep pink flowers. Borne mostly solitary on long stems, the brilliant flowers exude a strong, old rose fragrance and bloom in flushes from spring to fall. A compact, bushy, well-branched shrub clothed in leathery, dark green leaves which provide an ideal backdrop for its summer-long floral display. Hardy, beautiful and very disease resistant, this almost indestructible rose is perfect for novice gardeners. It will proudly stand as a focal point and garner attention in mass plantings.
