Chinese Stonecrop, Chinese Sedum
Sedum tetractinum (Chinese Stonecrop) is a low growing, evergreen, succulent perennial forming a tight carpet of fleshy, rounded, shiny green leaves. The leaves are adorned with pink edges in cold weather. Blooming in summer, yellow star-shaped flowers look handsome against the glossy foliage. Native to China, Sedum tetractinum is often used as a ground cover and as a lawn substitute in small areas. Ideal for the dry garden, it can be used as an edging, in rock gardens, or tucked into cracks in a rock wall.
