Summer Snowflake
A better variety than its parent, Summer Snowflake ‘Gravetye Giant’ (Leucojum aestivum) features 4 to 8 large, white, nodding, bell-shaped flowers with green-tipped tepals, dangling from each long, fairly sturdy flower stem. Mildly chocolate-scented, they rise above clumps of dark grassy green leaves. Impressively robust and vigorous, ‘Gravetye Giant’ flowers in mid – late spring and then goes dormant during summer.
