Chinese Fringe Flower 'Carolina Moonlight', Carolina Moonlight Chinese Fringe Flower, Loropetalum chinense 'NCI 002'
Loropetalum chinense ‘Carolina Moonlight’ (Chinese Fringe Flower) is a bushy evergreen shrub of compact, upright to arching habit with thick and very small olive green leaves. In late winter to early spring, it produces abundant clusters of creamy-white, spidery flowers, each with narrow, twisted, inch-long petals. The luminous blossoms stand out against the evergreen foliage which provides interest to the landscape all year long. Deer-resistant and drought tolerant, this pretty evergreen shrub is perfect as an accent or in mass plantings. It makes a lovely hedge along the entryway and looks great in perennial borders or in containers.
